Inner rubber sleeve for the heat-resistant 28 mm exhaust clamp, suitable for your moped, scooter, or small motorcycle.

The rubber sleeve serves as a replacement part for the exhaust flange and neatly connects flame tubes with an outer diameter of 28 mm to the matching muffler. The special FPM/FKM rubber compound (commonly known as Viton) is characterized by excellent resistance to high temperatures, mineral oils, fuels, many organic solvents, and chemicals. The material has been laboratory-tested for its aging properties and technical characteristics; it remains flexible even at high temperatures of up to 200 °C and does not become brittle.

The inner diameter has been kept smaller than the outer diameter of the parts to be connected—at 25 mm and 29 mm, respectively—to ensure an optimal seal.

Note: The exhaust clamp must not be tightened too much under any circumstances, as this will compress the rubber too much and may cause it to tear.
