The Woodruff key is used for clean alignment of the pole wheel on the crankshaft on the alternator side. The half-moon key has a thicker chamfer on the rear side, as can also be found on original, factory-fitted parts. In contrast to commercially available standard products, this, together with the precisely observed dimensional tolerances, ensures a particularly high fitting accuracy.
Note: For Vespa 160 GS / 180 SS models, this wedge is suitable for the clutch.
