Disc brake system manufactured in small series incl. powder-coated 16” front wheel and CNC-milled brake caliper plate for your Piaggio Bravo 2 moped / moped.
The aluminum milled base plate is mounted to the mounting points of the mudguard using the two screws supplied. The existing cam on the fork gives the bracket additional guidance and ensures stability. All relevant bolts are either fitted with lock nuts or already secured with medium-strength Loctite.
Contents of the disc brake set:
- 16” 4-star cast rim at the front incl. adapter ring for centring the brake disc and cover instead of the brake anchor plate
- Brake disk 220 mm
- Enclosed wheel bearing and quick-release axle
- Brake calliper
- Brake cable 900 mm (length sufficient for original handlebars)
- Brake lever with container for the brake fluid
- Bolts and nuts for fastening all parts
Installation instructions:
After fitting a tire, routing the cable and installing the new grip unit, the brake fluid reservoir must be filled and the system bled.
If you want to continue using the mudguard, the brake calliper plate still needs to be adjusted.
If you want to continue using the speedometer, the speedometer drive must be drilled out and the spacer must be unscrewed.
Use only fresh DOT4 brake fluid and bleed the system properly to ensure your safety.
Pay attention to cleanliness during installation and clean the brake disk and brake shoes with brake cleaner before use.
