Blade-cooled 41 mm (55 cc) racing kit suitable for your moped / moped with Sachs 50, 502, 50/2, 50/3 or 50/4 engine.
The timing is deliberately kept low on this racing cylinder, which ensures high torque in the lower speed range. This effect is further enhanced by the two-piece exhaust. So that you can enjoy every ride in everyday life without worrying, a «30 km» test disguises the actual performance of your power unit.
The piston is fitted with the arrow pointing towards the exhaust.
The racing cylinder set includes cylinder, complete piston kit, cylinder studs and a cylinder base gasket.
Differences to the original BADASS Diablo cylinder:
- In the GPO cylinder, the bridge of the split exhaust is slightly ground to minimize the risk of heat jamming on the exhaust side.
- In the GPO tuning cylinder, the edges of the overflow ports have been chamfered in the area of the cylinder neck to make it easier to fit the piston rings.
- The original BADASS cylinder is supplied with a GOL piston, while the GPO Divertimento is fitted with a GPO piston matched to the cylinder. Differences can be seen, among other things, in the crown and the cut-outs on the piston skirt for opening the overflow channels.
- The GPO Divertimento has more space for the nuts to screw on the cylinder base.
- The required M6x62 mm stud bolts for mounting the cylinder base as well as nuts, washers and stud bolts for the intake are included as standard with the GPO.
- The angle of the intake tract has been adjusted so that the carburettor and air filter are now aligned horizontally and no longer point upwards at an angle.
- On the BADASS Diablo, the stamped «30 km» logo is positioned off-center, whereas on the GPO Divertimento it is positioned in the middle, as it is on the original Swiss cylinder.
Notes:
The cylinder base is designed ex works for Swiss 50/2 (502) engines. However, the holes for the German 50/2 engine housing are indicated. This allows you to drill them out if necessary and use the cylinder as usual for your moped with German engine housing.
The large inlet allows the use of the 17 mm swiing® tuning carburetor, provided it is fitted with a short air filter cap, matching clamp (short) and corresponding closing plate (long / deep).
