The legend is now back even bigger! The legendary Metrakit racing cylinder from days gone by has risen from the ashes like a phoenix in the 45 mm version and ignites a new fire in your Puch Maxi S, N, X30 Sport NS, NL and Supermaxi LG1 and LG2 moped / moped.
The aluminium cylinder with grey cast iron liner is an optimized replica of the original Metrakit racing cylinder. The timing has been revised compared to the original and provided with more advance, making the well-known piston sticking problem due to high heat development a thing of the past. In addition, the cylinder height has been precisely adapted so that the extra-thick base gasket previously required is now superfluous.
This GPO racing cylinder is one of the strongest and most powerful in its class and has been extensively tested. It impresses with ample torque across the entire power band and offers an impressively powerful performance. Thanks to the optimizations compared to the original, the cylinder also achieves a noticeably higher engine speed, which ensures even more power and driving pleasure.
To get the full power out of this tuning cylinder, we recommend at least a 15 mm carburetor. However, you can achieve significantly more power with a 17 mm carburetor. Thanks to the generous 19 mm intake, you have sufficient scope for optimum power delivery.
