Fitting an exhaust gasket is not that difficult. On a Puch Maxi moped and most other motorbikes, the manifold is attached to the exhaust with just 2 screws. To be able to fit the gasket, you must first loosen these screws and then remove the exhaust system. Make sure that you also loosen the other fixing points of the exhaust so that you have enough play to fit the exhaust gasket between the manifold and the exhaust. Before you do this, however, you should first thoroughly clean the contact surface for the exhaust gasket. You can then fit the exhaust gasket to your Puch Maxi moped and then tighten all the bolts and nuts to secure the exhaust system.
