
Shaft seal ring with sealing lip made of PTFE (colloquially known as Teflon) with the dimensions 17x35x8 mm for use on the crankshaft of your Puch X30 Sport and Velux moped / moped with Z50 engine.
This heavy-duty shaft seal ring can be used instead of a standard 17x35x8 seal on the timing side. Due to the larger surface area, a better fit is achieved in the housing, which in turn leads to improved sealing.
This radial shaft seal with the high-tech material fluorocarbon rubber outer jacket is resistant up to a temperature of 200 °C, and even up to 220 °C for short periods.
Historical NBR shaft seals are temperature-resistant up to 100 °C.
FPM or FKM shaft seals (colloquially known as Viton) are particularly suitable for racing, as they are designed for higher speeds and can therefore withstand higher temperatures.
The oil seal (colloquially known as a radial shaft seal) has an additional sealing lip made of PTFE, a thermally highly resilient material that does not interact with the lubricant and can therefore withstand the highest loads.
Note: This housing seal ring can only be used on the ignition side and not on the clutch side. A radial shaft seal with the dimensions 17/35/7 must be used on the clutch side.
